📚🎃 Book Character Day is almost here! Celebrate Halloween by dressing up as your favorite character from a book! Be creative — you could be Harry Potter, Fancy Nancy, Pete the Cat, The Cat in the Hat, Dog Man, Matilda, or Geronimo Stilton. You can even make your own costume inspired by a character from a story you’ve read in class or from the library. Remember to keep costumes school-friendly and bring your book along to show who you are!

Here’s a list of fun and easy book character costume ideas: 

👓 Classic Favorites

• Harry Potter or Hermione Granger – robe, glasses, wand

• Matilda (from Matilda) – blue dress, red bow, and a book

• The Cat in the Hat – striped hat, bow tie, black outfit

• Thing 1 & Thing 2 – red shirt with label, blue hair or wig

🐾 Animal & Funny Characters

• Pete the Cat – blue outfit, yellow shirt, cool sunglasses
