I am honored to serve the students and families of the Elon community as the Principal of Elon Elementary School. As a proud graduate of Amherst County Public Schools, it is my pleasure to live and work in the school division that shaped and molded my academic life. After completing my Bachelor's degree in Human Development from Virginia Tech in 2005, I returned to central Virginia and completed a Master's of Education in Special Education from Lynchburg College in 2011 and a Master's in Educational Leadership from Lynchburg College in 2017. I have worked for Amherst County Public Schools for fourteen years as a Special Education teacher, coach, and Lead Teacher for Special Education at the secondary level. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my husband, Nathan, and daughters, Landry and Kharis.
