November 2016 Update

November Thanksgiving Box Top Contest!

Box Tops and Labels for Education

Win a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Feast for your class!

Our November Box Tops contest will have two winning classes; one for Kindergarten-2nd grade and one for 3rd-5th grade. The two classes submitting the most Box Tops will earn a feast like Charlie Brown served to his friends: toast, popcorn, pretzels and jelly beans.  The winner of this contest will be announced on November 18th.

Please remember to check your food packages for Labels for Education UPC’s and Box Tops as you bake for the holidays.  You can find a full list of products at www.boxtops4education.com. Our Box Tops program is a great success because of your support. Thank You!

Here are a few Box Tops collection tips:

Check Expiration Dates- Always check the date in the lower right corner. Be sure when cutting out Box Tops that the date is visible.

No Staples, Please- When attaching Box Tops to collection sheets, use glue or tape. Staples are not allowed in our submissions and must be removed.

Get Others Involved- Increase your collection by asking grandparents, relatives, friends and co-workers to clip and collect Box Tops.

Submit Often-Turn in your collection sheets each month even if they are not complete and begin a new one. This ensures that submissions can be made for quickly approaching expiration dates on the Box Tops.

I hope you’re excited for everything we can do this year with Box Tops! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me at Burches4hokies@aol.com. I’m here to make our school’s Box Tops for Education program a huge success this year.

Thanks for your help!
